Cursor Pro costs $20 a month. Helix does it free. It's a blazing-fast modal code editor built in Rust with language server support baked right in, no plugins or extensions to manage. You edit at the speed of thought with multiple cursors and instant project-wide search, all straight from your terminal. Over 44,000 developers have starred it on GitHub, ditching bloated paid setups for a tool that boots in milliseconds. Worth a star? Link in description.
